Jean-Marie
Nsambu is a journalist, who has been in the field for
close to two decades, having started out as a freelance
writer in his high school years, attracted by his father,
Hilary Nsambu, a seasoned journalist with specialization
in Sports and later, Legal (Court) reporting. Jean-Marie
pioneered a number of publications, including the Sharing
Youth Mirror, a newsletter in the early 1990s at
Sharing Youth Centre, Nsambya, and the East African
University News, in 2006. He has for long been a
writer with and still contributes for The New Vision
leading daily, now and then

Jean-Marie is also an advocate of the
Courts of Judicature in Uganda, having enrolled to the
Bar in 2004, after his Legal Practice post-graduate diploma
at the Law Development Centre (LDC), in Kampala. He has
special interest in religious and international affairs.
He has served as youth leader of the Archdiocese of Kampala,
for more than seven years and he still serves on a few
committees in the diocese.
