New Era for Comboni Missionary Sisters in Asia

As contemplated the departure notice hanging on the board in my office,  (Sr. Libanos Ayele, Sr. Quy Ti Dihn, Sr. Nelly Kangogo for Asia), I felt it was a dream being fulfilled or at least a tremendous unfolding into the realm of reality: Comboni sisters finally in Asia! Four years had already passed since our first visit to the Diocese of Kandy in October 2008. Our visit was a response to the Chapter Mandate to explore possibilities for a presence of the Comboni sisters, already present in Asia in Diaspora in the Gulf, in Asia itself.
